Ten production years, almost 2.7 million vehicles: as successor to the “Stroke Eight” models the new W123 executive segment vehicle set new standards in terms of vehicle safety. Consequently, the model series, technologically based on the S-Class, convinced with characteristics including a diagonal swing rear axle, double wishbone front suspension with zero scrub radius, sturdy safety passenger cell featuring reinforced roof frame structure, high-strength roof pillars and door pillars, reinforced doors, controlled deformability of the front end and rear as well as a safety steering column as part of which the steering unit and steering column have been linked to each other by a corrugated tube. Various AMG add-on parts simultaneously lend the W123 Saloon a sporty look on the road. Be it the AMG 5-spoke drop centre wheel, AMG front spoiler or AMG steering wheel: as the variant with AMG components this hand-assembled precision model adds to any collection. This model car is finished in the authentic paintwork colour and also has interior details which are true to the original and an interior with high-quality decoration. The doors, bonnet and tailgate of the model can be opened, allowing closer inspection of the car’s interior. The model car is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging and includes a screwdriver to allow the model to be removed easily. A glove is also included in delivery as protection against fingerprints on the windows or vehicle body paintwork on the model.
